The Indian Railways has announced the introduction of a new Vande Bharat Express service, connecting the historical city of Agra with the national capital, New Delhi.

The recent successful trial of the Vande Bharat train’s armor system between Palwal and Vridavan underscores the commitment of Indian Railways to ensuring passenger safety and operational efficiency. Led by Railway Board Chairperson and CEO Jaya Verma Sinha, the trial demonstrated the effectiveness of the armor in enabling the train to automatically adhere to speed limits and stop at red lights without the need for manual intervention.
