However, city planning documents indicate that the number of mechanical road sweeping machines available is significantly below the requirement identified by municipal authorities. Poorly managed waste and dust accumulation can worsen air quality, contribute to drainage blockages during monsoon seasons and undermine public health conditions in dense urban neighbourhoods. Gurugram’s rapid transformation into a major corporate and residential hub has intensified the need for modern sanitation management systems that can keep pace with urban growth.
