E-Auction for Greater Noida Plots Aims at ₹500 Crore Revenue

The Greater Noida Authority has unveiled a significant new initiative aimed at allocating five prime builder plots through an e-auction process, expected to generate at least ₹500 crore in revenue and facilitate the construction of approximately 8,000 new residential flats. This strategic move underscores the Authority’s commitment to bolstering the region’s residential infrastructure and attracting substantial investment.

According to an official statement, the e-auction for the plots will commence with online registrations opening from Tuesday. The anticipated revenue of ₹500 crore is based on the reserve price for these plots. The introduction of these plots into the market is projected to stimulate considerable construction activity, resulting in the creation of around 8,000 new flats, thereby enhancing the residential capacity of Greater Noida.Official of Greater Noida Authority, highlighted the strategic advantages of the region, stating, “Greater Noida boasts the highest greenery in the NCR and offers superior infrastructure and connectivity compared to other cities, making it an ideal residential choice.” The Builder Department of the Greater Noida Authority has designed this scheme to allocate 99,000 square metres of prime land across various sectors. The plots, located in Omicron 1, Mu, Sigma 3, Alpha 2, and Pi 1 and 2, range in size from 3,999 square metres to 30,470 square metres. Key dates for interested parties include a registration deadline of July 23, with associated fees due by July 26. All necessary documentation must be submitted by July 29, ensuring a swift and efficient allocation process. The possession of the plots will be granted immediately following the allocation, facilitating prompt commencement of development activities. This initiative not only aims to augment the residential infrastructure of Greater Noida but also aligns with the region’s broader strategic objectives of sustainable development and enhanced livability. By leveraging e-auction technology, the Authority is ensuring a transparent and competitive allocation process, maximising both investor interest and public benefit. The Greater Noida Authority’s proactive approach in launching this builder plot allocation scheme reflects its ongoing efforts to drive urban development and accommodate the growing demand for high-quality residential spaces in the National Capital Region.
