Government initiatives and the proliferation of smart cities are pivotal in bolstering market expansion across major urban centres such as Delhi-NCR. The evolution of smart home technologies has progressed beyond basic automation, embracing sophisticated systems incorporating AI, IoT (Internet of Things), and voice control. These innovations have revolutionized daily living, introducing smart appliances, advanced security systems, and energy management solutions that enhance convenience, safety, and energy efficiency.
In Delhi-NCR, particularly in Gurugram, there is a notable shift in consumer preferences towards smart home technologies, driven by a desire for enhanced convenience and security. This trend is mirrored in the growing emphasis on green buildings, which are gaining prominence across India’s real estate sector. By 2025, the green buildings market is projected to contribute significantly, potentially reaching $39 billion, with $11 billion attributed to commercial segments and $28 billion to residential developments.
