Kaushalya Logistics Launches New Freight Forwarding Services
Kaushalya Logistics Ltd (KLL) has unveiled significant expansions in its operational capacity, highlighting its strategic push to bolster its role in the logistics sector. The company has inaugurated a new cement depot in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, which is set to enhance its logistics capabilities, particularly for Adani Cement’s portfolio, including ACC and Ambuja Cement brands.
The newly established depot is equipped to manage around 120,000 metric tons of cement annually. It will oversee the entire logistics chain, from rail transport to depot management and further distribution to secondary points. This comprehensive approach aims to streamline operations and improve efficiency in cement handling and delivery. The expansion into Ahmednagar marks a key development for KLL, solidifying its role as a crucial player in the cement logistics sector. The depot will facilitate rake point operations, enhance depot management, and ensure smooth secondary transportation, supporting the increased demand for cement in the region.
In addition to cement logistics, KLL has broadened its service offerings by launching a new vertical in freight forwarding. This new arm focuses on full truck load (FTL) services and has commenced operations with notable clients, including VMS Equipment—part of the ACE Group, a major player in material handling and construction equipment—and Epicu Beverages, a bottling partner for Parle Agro. The Managing Director of Kaushalya Logistics expressed enthusiasm about these developments, stating, “We are excited to embark on this new venture with the Adani Group and enhance our cement logistics capabilities. The launch of our freight forwarding services also represents a significant milestone in our growth strategy.”
This dual expansion strategy not only underscores KLL’s commitment to expanding its logistical infrastructure but also marks a pivotal shift towards diversifying its service offerings. As the company continues to grow, it aims to leverage its enhanced capabilities to better serve its clients and capture greater market share in both cement logistics and freight forwarding sectors.
