Hyderabad Civic Body Calls for Dog Feeder Registration

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has initiated a voluntary registration process for individuals who feed street dogs, urging them to enrol via a dedicated link or QR code. This initiative is part of the civic body’s broader effort to promote harmonious coexistence between the city’s human and animal populations while ensuring the welfare of stray dogs.

By registering, dog feeders will collaborate with the GHMC in identifying appropriate feeding locations, strategically positioned away from heavily populated public areas to minimise potential human-animal conflicts.
