Western Railway Launches Special Trains to Ahmedabad, Jaipur

Western Railway has announced the operation of special Superfast trains between Bandra Terminus and Ahmedabad, as well as between Bandra Terminus and Jaipur. These services, scheduled for mid-August 2024, are designed to alleviate congestion and enhance connectivity on these popular routes.

The first of the special trains, designated as Train No. 09053, will depart Bandra Terminus at 21:30 on August 14, 2024. It is expected to arrive in Ahmedabad at 05:30 the following morning. The return service, Train No. 09054, will leave Ahmedabad at 08:45 on August 15 and is scheduled to reach Bandra Terminus by 17:15 the same day. Both directions will include stops at key stations including Borivali, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, and Nadiad, catering to passengers across several major towns.

In addition, Train No. 09037 is set to commence from Bandra Terminus at 21:40 on August 15, with an anticipated arrival in Jaipur at 16:00 the next day. The return journey, operated by Train No. 09038, will depart Jaipur at 19:00 on August 16 and is expected to reach Bandra Terminus by 13:00 on August 17. This service will halt at several intermediate stations, including Borivali, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Godhra, Ratlam, Nagda, Kota, and Sawai Madhopur.

Bookings for Train No. 09053 are already open, while reservations for Train No. 09054 and Train No. 09037 will commence on August 14, 2024. These additional trains are expected to provide a much-needed boost to passenger capacity on these crucial routes, offering more options and reducing travel times for commuters.
