MMRDA Invites Bids for Key Creek Bridge

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has officially initiated the bidding process for a significant infrastructure project: the construction of a 1.189 km-long creek bridge in Palghar district, Maharashtra.

The bridge construction project is structured as a performance-based, lump-sum turnkey contract. This comprehensive contract not only requires the design and construction of the bridge itself but also encompasses procurement, testing, and commissioning to ensure the bridge is fully operational upon completion. In addition, the successful bidder will be tasked with the development of access and approach roads leading to and within the project site. This holistic approach is intended to streamline the process and ensure seamless integration of the bridge into the existing transport network.

The construction timeline is set at 48 months, a period that includes the acquisition of all necessary environmental and regulatory clearances.
