Macrotech Acquires Opexefi and One Box for ₹95.76 Crore

Macrotech Developers Ltd has announced the acquisition of a 100 per cent stake in Opexefi Services Pvt Ltd and One Box Warehouse Pvt Ltd. The total transaction, valued at ₹95.76 crore, marks a strategic move by the real estate giant to enhance its capabilities in digital infrastructure and warehousing sectors. Under the agreement, both companies will be integrated as wholly-owned subsidiaries of Macrotech Developers.

The acquisition is split between two entities: Opexefi Services, purchased for ₹46.67 crore, and One Box Warehouse, acquired for ₹49.09 crore. Opexefi Services, established in December 2018, has so far reported no revenue, as it has yet to commence operations. Its inclusion in Macrotech’s portfolio is anticipated to catalyse its entry into logistics park development and warehousing, aligning with the company’s growth strategy in the industrial sector. On the other hand, One Box Warehouse, with its established infrastructure, complements Macrotech’s ambitions in expanding its warehousing and logistics capacities.

This strategic acquisition reflects Macrotech Developers’ commitment to broadening its industrial and logistics footprint, enhancing its position in the digital infrastructure landscape. The move is expected to streamline the company’s operations and support its long-term growth objectives in the industrial real estate sector.
