Omaxe Group Launches ₹2,500 Crore Sports and Retail Complex in Delhi

The Omaxe Group has announced a major investment of over ₹2,500 crore to develop a state-of-the-art integrated commercial and sports complex, named The Omaxe State, in Delhi’s Dwarka Sector 19-B. Spanning 50.4 acres, this ambitious project is set to redefine the city’s infrastructure landscape, providing a multi-faceted venue that combines sports, retail, hospitality, food, and cultural experiences.

Scheduled for completion by 2027, The Omaxe State will feature a world-class, ICC and FIFA-standard cricket-cum-football stadium with a seating capacity exceeding 30,000. In addition to the stadium, the complex will include an international multi-sports indoor stadium accommodating 2,000 spectators, further bolstering Delhi’s capabilities to host large-scale sporting events. The project will also encompass a diverse range of facilities, including an exclusive sports and leisure club, a 75,000 square feet e-sports arena, and a hotel with 148 keys. Developed in partnership with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) under a public-private partnership (PPP) model.

The Omaxe State is expected to generate substantial economic benefits, with projected revenue surpassing ₹4,200 crore over its lifecycle. The development is poised to fill a significant gap in Delhi’s sports and entertainment infrastructure, offering residents a high-quality experience previously unavailable in the city. The Managing Director of Omaxe Group, emphasised the project’s transformative potential: “With The Omaxe State, we aim to provide an international-level experience right here in Delhi. This development will bridge a crucial gap in the city’s infrastructure by offering world-class facilities for sports, shopping, and entertainment.” The Omaxe State represents a strategic expansion for Omaxe, which has a strong track record in real estate development and continues to innovate within the industry.
