Mumbai Weather Forecast: Foggy Mornings, Sunny Afternoons

Mumbai residents can enjoy a day of clear skies on 22 November, with temperatures expected to oscillate between 20°C and 35°C, according to meteorological forecasts. This comes as a relief for many, given the fluctuating weather patterns of late. As the sun rises at 6:49 AM and sets at 5:59 PM, Mumbaikars can expect pleasant conditions to continue through the day.

However, the week ahead paints a different picture, with foggy mornings expected to dominate. The Indian Meteorological Department predicts a shift towards mist-laden mornings, followed by clear or hazy conditions. On 23 November, temperatures will range between 21°C and 36°C, with fog or mist in the early hours clearing up as the day progresses. Similar conditions are forecasted for 24 November, with a slight dip in the maximum temperature to 35°C. Morning fog will likely give way to partly cloudy skies.

Moving into the weekend, 25 November will maintain a similar trend, with temperatures hovering between 22°C and 34°C. The week concludes with hazy conditions dominating 26 and 27 November, where the mercury will touch 35°C, with a minimum of 23°C and 24°C respectively. Adding to this, tidal patterns show early-morning and afternoon high tides peaking at 3.84 metres and 2.86 metres, while low tides at midday and late evening will see the water receding to 1.92 metres and 1.58 metres respectively. This weather forecast indicates a delicate balance of clear skies, mist, and haze, keeping the city’s weather both unpredictable and dynamic. For businesses and daily commuters, it is prudent to plan early morning activities around these foggy conditions to avoid delays.
