In a bid to accommodate candidates appearing for the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) examination, Central Railway (CR) has announced the operation of 10 special trains between Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Nagpur. These trains will run from November 23 to 28, offering a crucial travel option for RRB aspirants.

The special trains, designated as 01103 and 01104, will operate on a daily basis during the aforementioned dates. Train number 01103 will depart from CSMT at 3:30 pm and reach Nagpur at 10:50 am the following morning. In the return direction, train number 01104 will leave Nagpur at 1:30 pm and arrive at CSMT at 4:10 am the next day. These special trains will make stops at several key stations along the route in both directions. Passengers can expect halts at Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Manmad, Chalisgaon, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Jalamb, Shegaon, Akola, Murtizapur, Badnera, Dhamangaon, and Wardha, ensuring accessibility for candidates from various regions.

The trains will feature a range of amenities, including two AC-3 Tier coaches, eight Sleeper Class coaches, and eight Second Class seating coaches, along with two Brake Vans to accommodate the large volume of passengers. To ensure smooth and hassle-free bookings, reservations are available through all computerized reservation centres and online via the IRCTC website. Central Railway’s initiative comes as part of its efforts to support RRB exam candidates, providing them with convenient travel options to reach their examination centres without difficulty. The special trains are expected to alleviate the travel burden on candidates, particularly those coming from distant regions to appear for the highly anticipated railway recruitment exams.
