Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) in Mumbai showcased remarkable growth in November 2024, a month marked by strong demand for both domestic and international travel. With 4.77 million passengers passing through the airport, it handled a significant number of travelers, including 3.4 million domestic and 1.37 million international passengers.
The airport also achieved a notable 27,200 Air Traffic Movements (ATMs), with November 27 being the busiest day, witnessing 941 flights. This growth reflects a strong recovery in the aviation sector, fueled by the ongoing festive season and a rising demand for both business and leisure travel. Major domestic routes to Delhi, Bangalore, and Goa, as well as international destinations like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and London, saw high traffic, illustrating CSMIA’s pivotal role in connecting India to the world.
