The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will develop Kapoorthala market as the Central Business District (CBD) of the city to promote business activities in the area. Under this, a multilevel parking lot and pink toilet will be constructed. Along with this, barrier-free footpaths will be prepared for pedestrians by removing illegal encroachments.
LDA Vice Chairman Indramani Tripathi made this announcement on the demand of local businessmen. He was on inspection of the Kapoorthala market. On traders’ demand, he directed the engineers to identify sites for a parking lot and pink toilet.
