MHADA Konkan Board Invites Public Participation in Housing Demand Survey

The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) Konkan Board has launched an online Housing Demand Survey to assess public interest in its upcoming affordable housing projects in Ambernath. This survey, open until February 28, 2025, will help MHADA understand the demand for homes in the area before finalizing the feasibility report for these developments.

The proposed housing projects are located in Kohij Khuntavali and Shiv Ganga Nagar, Ambernath, and are aimed at the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Middle-Income Group (MIG). The Kohij Khuntavali project is set to offer 1,606 EWS housing units, along with 22 commercial shops, while the Shiv Ganga Nagar project will provide 151 EWS units and 774 MIG units. MHADA officials stressed that the participation of local citizens in this survey is essential for tailoring the project to meet actual demand. Interested individuals can take part by visiting MHADA’s survey portal and submitting their details. For further information or assistance, the MHADA Konkan Board can be contacted at 022-66405249.

To make the survey process more accessible, QR codes linked to Google Maps have been provided for the public to easily locate the proposed sites. The Kohij Khuntavali project can be accessed here, and the Shiv Ganga Nagar site can be found here. The MHADA Konkan Board encourages all residents to engage in the survey and contribute to the creation of well-planned, affordable housing solutions in Ambernath.
