Indian Railways has approved the extension of the Vande Bharat Express service from Bengaluru to Belagavi. This decision aims to enhance travel efficiency and support economic growth in Karnataka.
The new route will commence operations shortly, with the train departing from Belagavi in the morning and returning from Bengaluru in the evening. This schedule is designed to cater to the needs of daily commuters and business travelers, facilitating same-day round trips between the two cities. The Vande Bharat Express, known for its speed and comfort, will cover the distance between Bengaluru and Belagavi in approximately six hours and twenty-five minutes. The train will operate six days a week, excluding Tuesdays, and will include stops at key stations such as Yesvantpur Junction, Tumkur, Davangere, SSS Hubballi Junction, and Dharwad.
