On the 31st Foundation Day of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal, underscored the importance of efficient, reliable, and safe urban transport systems as a fundamental right for every citizen.

Speaking at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, he highlighted the transformative role of metro systems, especially in rapidly growing urban centres.
