Andhra Pradesh Leads with Quantum Valley Vision

On National Technology Day, Andhra Pradesh reaffirmed its commitment to harnessing emerging technologies to foster an inclusive and sustainable future.

The state is set to establish India’s first Quantum Valley in Amaravati, aiming to become a global hub for quantum computing and innovation.
The Quantum Valley Tech Park, scheduled for inauguration on January 1, 2026, will house the country’s most powerful quantum computer—a 156-qubit IBM Quantum System Two. This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Andhra Pradesh government, IBM, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and Larsen & Toubro (L&T).The tech park is envisioned as a Silicon Valley-inspired ecosystem, integrating academia, startups, and global expertise.

It aims to spur high-end job creation, talent development, and attract global investments into India’s emerging quantum industry In addition to technological advancements, the state is focusing on inclusive policies and real-time analytics to ensure that the benefits of innovation reach all segments of society. The Quantum Valley initiative aligns with India’s National Quantum Mission, positioning Andhra Pradesh as a leader in the global quantum revolutionAs the world watches India’s technological ascent, Andhra Pradesh’s proactive approach underscores its role in shaping the next wave of global innovation.
