PM Reviews Key Infrastructure Projects Worth Rs 62000 Crore

Prime Minister chaired a virtual meeting on May 28, 2025, reviewing three major projects collectively valued at over ₹62,000 crore.

These projects span the critical sectors of road transport, power, and water resources, encompassing various states and union territories. Emphasising the strategic importance of these initiatives, the Prime Minister underscored the necessity for concerted efforts to overcome implementation bottlenecks and ensure timely completion. He highlighted that delays not only escalate costs but also deprive citizens of essential services and infrastructure.

The meeting also addressed concerns related to the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). The Prime Minister stressed the need for strict compliance with RERA provisions to restore trust in the housing market. He urged state governments to ensure mandatory registration of all eligible real estate projects under the RERA Act and to improve the quality and timeliness of grievance redressal to ensure justice and fairness for homebuyers. Additionally, the Prime Minister reviewed best practices emerging from the development of India’s semiconductor ecosystem, highlighting their potential to serve as blueprints for other states and union territories, thereby reinforcing the National Semiconductor Mission.

Since its inception, the PRAGATI platform has reviewed 373 projects valued at ₹20.64 lakh crore, reflecting the government’s commitment to proactive governance and timely implementation.
