GMR Hyderabad Airport Clinches Prestigious ASQ Best Airport Award 2023

GMR Hyderabad International Airport has secured yet another accolade by bagging the prestigious Airport Service Quality (ASQ) award for the ‘Best Airport in the 15 to 25 Million Passengers Per Annum (MPPA)’ category in the Asia-Pacific region for the year 2023. This recognition comes after the airport excelled in the Airports Council International (ACI) Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey, surpassing over 400 global airports that participated in 2023. GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited CEO Pradeep Panicker said, “We owe this recognition to the team and all airport stakeholders for their dedication, tireless hard work, and commitment.”

He further said, “As part of our expansion that is almost complete, we have added new facilities and on ground infrastructure within the terminal and airside areas. These enhancements are instrumental in advancing operational efficiency, enhancing customer convenience, and elevating the overall airport experience.” In the fiercely competitive aviation landscape, GMR Hyderabad International Airport has consistently demonstrated excellence in service quality. Notably, the airport had previously earned the title of World No. 4 in the 15 – 25 MPPA category in 2018. Furthermore, it clinched the coveted ‘Best Airport by Size and Region’ award in the Asia-Pacific region for both 2019 and 2020 within the same passenger category. Building on its legacy of success, the airport continued its winning streak in 2022, securing the ‘Best Airport by Size and Region’ accolade in the 15-25 MPPA category in the Asia-Pacific region.

This year’s ASQ award reaffirms GMR Hyderabad Airport’s commitment to delivering exceptional passenger experiences and maintaining international service standards. The ASQ recognition is a testament to the airport’s relentless pursuit of excellence, setting benchmarks in the aviation industry. GMR Hyderabad International Airport’s consistent track record of being among the best in its category underscores its dedication to providing top-notch services, enhancing passenger satisfaction, and contributing to the growth and reputation of the Indian aviation sector.

As GMR Hyderabad Airport adds another feather to its cap, the ASQ Best Airport Award 2023 solidifies its position as a leading hub, ensuring travellers experience world-class service and facilities in the heart of India.
