This distinction, alongside its inclusion in the newly introduced ‘Super Swachh League’, underscores the exceptional public support and satisfaction regarding the city’s cleanliness, sanitation services, and civic engagement initiatives. The achievement highlights strong community involvement and trust in the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation’s NMMC efforts.

A notable program, ‘Parisar Sakhi,’ actively engaged women waste pickers in door to door collection efforts. Furthermore, the civic body actively encouraged on site composting and promoted zero waste models within residential societies, thereby deepening resident involvement in sustainable waste management practices.
