Incessant rainfall has triggered numerous landslides, blocking critical stretches with debris and mudflows, leading to a complete halt or extremely sluggish vehicular movement. This alarming situation has effectively isolated the state from the rest of the country, highlighting significant vulnerabilities in its core infrastructure and raising urgent questions about road maintenance and construction quality.

The current disarray on these vital arteries extends beyond natural calamities.
