Ahmedabad Launches New TP Schemes Driving Planned Peripheral Development

Ahmedabad is taking a significant step toward structured urban expansion with the clearance of seven new Town Planning (TP) Schemes for peripheral villages. The Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) aims to guide the city’s suburban growth systematically while strengthening essential infrastructure, in anticipation of upcoming national and international sporting events.

The newly approved schemes cover villages including Saij, Godhavi, Kaneti, Nidhrad, and Manipur, collectively spanning nearly 1,000 hectares.
