The scheduled power cut will primarily affect Anna Nagar, Ambattur, and Thillai Ganga Nagar, with restoration expected by 2 p.m., though some areas may see earlier resumption depending on the completion of maintenance work.

In Anna Nagar, the most impacted localities include Jayalakshmi Nagar, Dhanalakshmi Nagar, Moogambigai Nagar, Balakrishna Nagar, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Janakiram Colony, Bhuvaneswari Nagar, Ramalinga Nagar, and Thamarai Avenue. Ambattur residents along TVS Nagar, Kandigai Street, Annai Nagar Main Road, Padmavathy Nagar, Anbu Nagar, Santhosh Nagar, Mohan Garden, Water Canal Road, and Palla Street will also experience temporary power loss.

Meanwhile, Thillai Ganga Nagar areas including Vanchinathan Street and Extension, Uthamar Gandhi Street, Thiruvalluvar Nagar, Nethaji Street, Kesari Nagar Main Road, and nearby colonies will be affected.Energy experts emphasised that scheduled maintenance contributes to grid stability, preventing larger systemic failures during peak demand.
