IISc, AAI Forge Cutting-Edge System to Tackle Airport Congestion

In a ground-breaking collaboration, researchers from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and the Airports Authority of India (AAI) have pioneered a revolutionary smart scheduling model aimed at alleviating airport congestion and reducing flight delays across the nation’s air travel network.

Published in the esteemed ‘Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board’, the findings unveil the culmination of intensive research efforts undertaken jointly by IISc’s Department of Civil Engineering, the Robert Bosch Centre for Cyber-Physical Systems (RBCCPS), and AAI.
