Citroën and OHM E Logistics Collaborate Introducing 1,000 ë-C3 EVs in Hyderabad

In a move towards sustainable mobility solutions, leading French automaker Citroën has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with OHM E Logistics, one of India’s prominent logistics companies, to introduce 1,000 units of the Citroën ë-C3 electric vehicles (EVs) into the latter’s electric shared mobility services.

The strategic collaboration aims to revolutionise urban logistics in Hyderabad and drive towards eco-friendly transportation solutions. Flagging off the initiative, Shishir Mishra, Brand Director of Citroën India, and Nirmal Reddy, founder and Chairman of OHM Group, ceremoniously launched the first phase of the project in Hyderabad. The initial deployment involves 120 Citroën ë-C3 vehicles, marking the beginning of a transformative journey towards sustainable mobility. Renowned for its accolades, the Citroën ë-C3 stands as an award-winning all-electric compact SUV, offering a remarkable range of 320 kilometres as per ARAI standards. Equipped with state-of-the-art fast charging technology, the ë-C3 boasts the capability of achieving a full charge in less than an hour, ensuring seamless operations for OHM E Logistics.

The strategic alliance between Citroën and OHM E Logistics underscores a shared commitment to environmental stewardship and innovation in the logistics sector. Over the next 12 months, OHM E Logistics plans to integrate the remaining 880 Citroën ë-C3 vehicles into its fleet, further solidifying its dedication to sustainable and efficient transportation solutions. This collaboration represents a significant step forward in OHM E Logistics’ journey towards sustainability. Having commenced its electric mobility initiative with 100 electric cabs in October 2022, deployed at GMR Hyderabad Airport, the company continues to lead the charge towards a greener future, reshaping urban mobility landscapes one electric vehicle at a time.
