Pune’s airport slipped deeper into operational disorder on Wednesday as cascading flight delays and cancellations left hundreds of passengers waiting through the night and into the following day. What began as an airline crew shortage quickly mutated into a system-wide gridlock, exposing the fragility of airport infrastructure already under pressure from rising demand and limited airside capacity.
