Morning travel plans for dozens of commuters were disrupted at Pune airport on Tuesday after a Bengaluru-bound aircraft was taken out of service moments before departure, forcing passengers to disembark following a prolonged wait inside the cabin. The incident underscores the operational pressures facing India’s rapidly expanding aviation sector, particularly on short-haul routes that support business travel and regional economic integration. 

The flight, scheduled for an early morning departure from Pune, had completed boarding and was preparing for pushback when a technical irregularity was detected during final checks.
