Alstom, a global leader in rail transportation, has delivered the 300th WAG-12B electric locomotive to the Indian Railways. The locomotives are part of a massive order of 800 engines signed by the Indian Railways and Alstom in 2018, valued at INR 40,000 crore, spread over 10 years.<\/p>\n
All 800 locomotives included in the order will be delivered by 2028, with 100 trains manufactured every year as part of the contract.
