The agreement is a significant step toward supporting Indian Railways\u2019 decarbonisation efforts and contributing to India\u2019s broader mission of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2070.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of the agreement, O2 Power will provide renewable energy to ECR\u2019s operations, helping to reduce the railways&#8217; carbon footprint and boost energy sustainability. O2 Power, established in 2020 by Temasek and EQT Infrastructure, has a growing portfolio of renewable energy projects across India, totaling more than 6GW of solar and wind power.
