IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd has reported a 23% year-over-year increase in toll collection for November 2024, reaching an impressive Rs 536 crore, up from Rs 437 crore in the same period last year. This surge highlights the company\u2019s robust performance in the roads and highways sector, reflecting the growing demand for travel and transport in India.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The announcement was made jointly by IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd and IRB Infrastructure Trust (Private InvIT). IRB Infrastructure, a leading multinational in transport infrastructure, manages an asset base of approximately Rs 80,000 crore across 12 states, with projects spanning toll roads, expressways, and highways. <\/span>Amitabh Murarka, Deputy CEO of IRB Infrastructure, expressed optimism about continued growth, noting that the year-end festive season typically drives an increase in travel and economic activity. “With improving economic indicators, we remain optimistic that strong toll collections will sustain in the coming months,” Murarka said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Toll Collection Breakdown: <\/span><\/strong>The company detailed its toll collection across various projects, including both wholly-owned subsidiaries and joint ventures. Notable contributors include: <\/span>IRB MP Expressway Pvt Limited (Mumbai-Pune Expressway & Old Mumbai-Pune Highway NH4): Rs 146.4 million in November 2024, up from Rs 141.1 million in 2023. <\/span>IRB Ahmedabad Vadodara Super Express Tollway Pvt. Ltd (Ahmedabad Vadodara Expressway NH48): Rs 67.2 million, a notable increase from Rs 59.3 million. C<\/span>G Tollway Ltd (Chittorgarh to Gulabpura NH79): Rs 30.1 million, up from Rs 27.6 million last year. <\/span>Udaipur Tollway Limited (Udaipur to Shamlaji NH48): Rs 25.8 million, up from Rs 23.8 million. <\/span>IRB Golconda Expressway Pvt. Ltd (Hyderabad Outer Roing Road): Rs 65.9 million, up from Rs 55.6 million.<\/p>\n

Other projects like Kaithal Tollway Limited and Kishangarh Gulabpura Tollway Limited also saw consistent growth in toll revenues, contributing to the overall growth for the month. <\/span>The total toll revenue for November 2024 amounted to Rs 535.9 million, significantly higher than Rs 437 million recorded in the same month last year. The collective toll revenue across all IRB\u2019s projects for November reached Rs 5,359 million, compared to Rs 4,370 million in 2023. <\/span>This surge in toll revenue builds on IRB’s strong performance earlier this year, including a 19% year-over-year growth in toll revenues reported for September 2024.
