The Airports Authority of India aims to streamline passenger flow, reducing waiting times during check-in, security checks and immigration processes. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14.0pt;\">This technology-enabled system\u2019s primary function is to monitor the time passengers spend at various points within the terminal, including entry gates, check-in counters, security checks, immigration and security hold areas. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14.0pt;\">The system&#8217;s sensors will also provide historical data, allowing authorities to identify patterns of passenger flow and areas where travellers tend to experience longer-than-necessary wait times.
