Their visionary research aims to create EVs that can charge without the<br \/>\nneed for a grid connection.<\/p>\n<p>At its core, the technology utilises solar panels to harness energy from the sun.<br \/>\nWhile solar panels on vehicles are not new, Odisha&#8217;s approach incorporates AI<br \/>\nalgorithms to optimise efficiency further.<\/p>\n<p>This AI-driven system calculates factors like temperature and sunlight to determine<br \/>\nthe ideal power generation levels for solar cells, ensuring that energy is generated<br \/>\nand stored efficiently in the vehicle&#8217;s battery. The AI makes real-time decisions<br \/>\nbased on a vast dataset of temperature and light readings, making the system<br \/>\nadaptable to varying conditions.<\/p>\n<p>What sets this innovation apart is its inclusion of kinetic energy capture. When the<br \/>\nvehicle&#8217;s brakes are applied, the system captures and converts the kinetic energy<br \/>\ngenerated during braking into electrical energy, further enhancing the vehicle&#8217;s<br \/>\nself-sufficiency.<\/p>\n<p>While solar panels on EVs have been explored previously, Odisha&#8217;s integration of<br \/>\nAI and kinetic energy capture introduces a new level of efficiency.
