The edition of the prestigious Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon concluded with a
\nremarkable turnout of over 35,000 runners who came together to support the
\ncause of RunForZeroHunger. The participation marked a significant increase of
\n50 percent, with the event featuring five races, including the flagship Half
\nMarathon, Open 10K Run, Great Delhi Run, Senior Citizens\u2019 Run, and
\nChampions with Disability Run.<\/p>\n
A highlight of the marathon was Vedanta’s commitment to provide one meal to
\nchildren for every 1 km run. This pledge amounted to an impressive total of 5
\nmillion meals. These nutritious meals will be distributed across Vedanta’s
\nnetwork of nearly 6,000 Nand Ghars, which are modernized, state-of-the-art
\nAnganwadis.<\/p>\n
Vedanta, through the Anil Agarwal Foundation, recently introduced millet-
\nbased nutri-bars, offering supplementary nutrition to children at Anganwadis,
\nincluding Nand Ghars. The early results from the Nand Ghar network show
\npromising improvements in nutritional outcomes. To share this experience with
