Advait Energy Transitions Limited has successfully installed and energised the ACCC\u00ae Daman Conductor for the Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO), setting a new standard in grid capacity enhancement without new infrastructure.<\/p>\n
The project, executed in the Amreli zone, involved the reconductoring of three key 66 kV lines\u2014Machiyla\u2013Malviya Pipariya, Bhingrad\u2013Lath, and Dhasa\u2013Bhingrad\u2014which were previously using ACSR Dog conductors. Rather than rebuild towers or expand rights-of-way, GETCO chose a sustainable alternative: to upgrade using the advanced ACCC\u00ae Daman Conductor. Manufactured by Sterlite Power and developed by U.S.-based CTC Global, the ACCC\u00ae Daman Conductor uses a 4.83 mm composite core that matches the dimensions of traditional conductors but delivers twice the ampacity. The conductor is designed for minimal sag, higher thermal performance, and increased power transfer\u2014ideal for congested corridors and infrastructure-limited zones. \u201cThis project is a proud moment for us,\u201d said Shalin Sheth, Founder and Managing Director of Advait Energy Transitions. \u201cIt marks our commitment to leading energy transitions through innovation, and this milestone underscores our role in redefining transmission efficiency in India.\u201d The entire reconductoring project was completed in just 67 days despite logistical and right-of-way challenges. Advait deployed specialised stringing tools and cutting-edge techniques to ensure safe, precise execution in densely populated and constrained areas.<\/p>\n
