The Pune Metro project, designed to connect the thriving IT hub of Hinjewadi with
\nthe bustling central business district of Shivajinagar, is making extraordinary
\nstrides. The pier erection work on this route has reached its concluding phase,
\nmarking a significant milestone. Among the planned 923 pillars for this 23.3 km stretch, approximately 80 percent of them, totalling 715 piers, have now been
\nsuccessfully erected.<\/p>\n
The 715th pier, a testament to engineering excellence, was inaugurated near
\nAgriculture College Square on Ganeshkhind Road. Notably, since the casting of
\nthe inaugural pier on Ganeshkhind Road, the Pune Metro Line 3 development team
\nhas achieved the remarkable feat of erecting over 700 piers in a mere 17 months.
\nIn conjunction with the pier construction, the pile cap work for Pune Metro Line 3
\nhas also entered its final phase, with 810 out of 923 pile caps now completed.
\nThese piers boast a unique circular design with a diameter of 2000 mm,
