GEG\u2019s strategic R&D investments have positioned it at the vanguard of India\u2019s transition to low\u2011carbon logistics. Across its intralogistics business, more than 85% of components are sourced locally, reinforcing the Atmanirbhar Bharat ethos and reducing carbon footprints across the value chain. On the manufacturing front, GEG\u2019s Chennai Storage Solutions plant has achieved triple water\u2011positivity, a 30% carbon\u2011emission reduction via piped natural gas, real\u2011time resource monitoring and is steering towards zero waste to landfill. Similar initiatives in the Vikhroli MHE facility in Mumbai have yielded marked energy productivity and carbon footprint reductions .<\/h4>\n

By integrating green infrastructure with cost optimisation, GEG aligns closely with the National Logistics Policy\u2019s aim to reduce India\u2019s logistics costs\u2014currently 14\u201318% of GDP\u2014to single digits. Its intralogistics innovation is accelerating delivery timelines, cutting operating expenditures and supporting last\u2011mile sustainability.
