Expressing dissatisfaction with the preparedness in certain areas, she stressed that no negligence will be tolerated in ensuring the capital remains functional during the monsoon season.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a high-level meeting with PWD Minister Pravesh Sahib and senior officials from key departments including Irrigation, Flood Control, and other civic bodies, CM Gupta laid out strict directives. She instructed that stormwater drains be regularly cleaned, small drains and culverts receive special attention, and garbage management be prioritised to avoid blockages.<\/span><\/h4>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While she appreciated the improved situation at traditionally flood-prone zones like Minto Road and ITO junction, where no waterlogging was reported, she demanded consistent efficiency across the entire city. \u201cIf water accumulation can be prevented in high-risk areas, the same is possible everywhere with the right effort,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/h4>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Field staff responsibilities are to be clearly defined, with instructions for inspections even on dry days.
