The collaboration marks a major stride towards creating intelligent, inclusive, and tech-driven airport experiences across India’s rapidly modernising aviation sector.

The new system will function as a “24×7 intelligent concierge”, offering passengers real-time access to flight updates, gate and baggage details, airport navigation, and service information through multilingual, voice- and chat-enabled interfaces. Initially available in English and Hindi, the platform will later expand to include more Indian languages, ensuring accessibility for travellers from diverse regions. According to officials, the AI-powered service aims to bridge the communication gap between passengers and airport operations, while reducing dependency on physical helpdesks. “This system brings together automation, inclusivity, and sustainability to improve how passengers interact with airports,” an Adani group spokesperson said.

The AIONOS agentic AI will integrate with AAHL’s existing digital infrastructure, including Aviio, Adani OneApp, and Airport-in-a-Box, to create a unified ecosystem of smart mobility services. By connecting flight management, terminal navigation, and passenger engagement under one platform, the technology is expected to streamline operations, reduce delays, and enhance traveller comfort. AAHL currently manages seven airports — Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Guwahati, Jaipur, and Thiruvananthapuram — and will soon commence operations at the Navi Mumbai International Airport. Each of these facilities is expected to adopt the AI system in phases over the coming months.

Industry analysts view this collaboration as part of a broader digital shift in India’s aviation sector, which is investing heavily in automation and artificial intelligence to manage rising air traffic efficiently. With passenger numbers projected to cross 400 million annually within the decade, AI-led solutions are becoming essential for improving resource management, energy efficiency, and user experience. Experts note that such technologies also contribute to sustainability goals. By optimising staff deployment and reducing manual interventions, AI tools help cut energy consumption and operational waste — aligning with India’s wider vision for smart, green infrastructure.

As airports evolve into digital mobility hubs, Adani’s AI-driven initiative positions its network among the country’s most technologically advanced. For travellers, this shift promises quicker assistance, fewer queues, and smoother journeys — a crucial step in transforming Indian airports into intelligent, user-friendly gateways for global travel.

Also Read: Mumbai Revamps 23 Bus Routes And Launches New AC Service For Office-Goers

Adani Airport Partners With AIONOS To Deploy AI Support Across Indian Terminals

Adani Airport Holdings Ltd (AAHL) has announced a partnership with AIONOS, a subsidiary of InterGlobe Enterprises, to introduce an artificial intelligence-based passenger support system across

[146,147,148
5538,9697,30622,13922,5307,198,30623,8427,7347,13926,1915,333
post-80270","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-latest","category-news","category-urban-news","tag-adani-airports","tag-ai-technology","tag-airport-automation","tag-aviation-innovation","tag-digital-infrastructure","tag-green-mobility","tag-inclusive-technology","tag-india-airports","tag-passenger-experience","tag-smart-airports","tag-sustainable-aviation","tag-urban-development
["GET
