The Noida Metro Rail Corporation, in a move to increase non-fare revenue generation, has leased out a mock-up metro train coach to a private company for a commercial activity near the Sector 137 metro station.
NMRC will hand over the coach to the licensee to relocate it from the depot area to the designated space at sector 137 for setting up its business. The licensee can operate any business, from a restaurant to a mixed convenience store. The licensee will also be permitted to develop circulating areas around the Metro coach as landscape or green areas with seating arrangements.
